Whats the fastest stock quad period?

I was wondering what you guys thought the fastest stock quad is?
My buddy thinks it's the banchee. I don't think that at all. I believe it is the c-dale 440. I asked this question all ready in the yamaha fourm. Just wondering what this one thought?

you will never get a clear cut answer to this question.
The zilla is probably the fastest ever, but if you are looking at quads in production today, the banshee, cannondale, raptor, and ds are all right there.
As for top speed, I think the banshee and ds are right there, with the cannon and raptor next. For quickness, the cannondale is first, the banshee next with the raptor and ds right in there with them.
Bottom line is these are all very fast machines and all can be made faster. But stock for stock I would guess they are all very close to each other. So many factors are involved. tires, terrain, and rider all play a very important factor and can sway the testing either way.
I know that doesnt really answer your question, but I hope it kind of clears up why there is never a definative answer.

Facts are facts, go back and read the DirtWheels shootout of the current quads, the Cannondale won the top speed shootout.

WIscrambler, the Cannondale did in fact have the top speed!! Look at the article, in DirtWheels July 2001, page 49, first paragraph, let me quote:
"We've got to admit that the Cannondale FX400 surprised us. When it topped the Raptor 660R by around three mph in top speed (74 mph to 71 mph), it became the fastest production quad on the market."
Turn the page, shootout ratings:
Top speed - Cannondale, tie for second was the raptor and DS650. The Banshee got 4th in top speed so I'm not sure where you're getting your figures from but mine are straight from DirtWheels!!
