what kind of oil...brand and weight..are your guys running(transmission)?
what kind of pre-mix oil are you runnin?
what ratio do you mix it at?
is synthetic better than conventional?
what kinds of spark plugs..numbers too?
what should i run in hotter weather...85 degree range?
anything else i should know?
any info would be GREAT!
that's all for now..i'll think of more later

ive been racing R's for a while now and i dont agree with KNOWSALOT on that oil ratio. that is very very lean for a 250R. i would highly suggest using bel-ray MC-1 with a 32:1 ratio. i also run bel-ray gear saver motor oil that has never failed me. i run a NGK B8ES plug but you can also run a B8ESV or B8ESR. this setup is perfect for any weather but like all two stokes you have to make sure it is jetted good. thats all ya sked so thats as far as im goin

crazyhorse, different oils require different ratios to be equivelant to that of another oil.
You wouldn't run MC-1 with that ratio, but you do with the Spectro.
We sponsor over 100 enduro motorcycle racers and ATV racers all across the south and all use the Golden Spectro at the 50:1 Like I said, it depends on the oil you use.
