I put 4wd on my 400ex, and nitrous. This thing flies!!! The only bike I've seen that's faster is my buddies blaster with a jet engine installed!! LOL Just kidding!!

Do you even have a 400ex yet?? Why don't you get one, ride it, and see for yourself. Mine is stock right now and is supposed to be able to go 68 mph (I think). No need to modify a bike until you feel that you personally need more power. I've got a dynojet jet kit, K&N Filter, and I'm trying to figure out which pipe to buy. Until then, I'm perfectly happy riding with a stock motor. The 400ex is a fun bike to ride.

the ac pro pegs really added a lot of power. on dry pavement i can hit about 87 mph because of those bad boys.

yeah those ac nerfs added like 11 more hp over stock..wow..what a cheap hp difference

 

I got a 250R conversion kit for my 400EX. All you do is buy an ESR pipe, jam some reeds in the airbox, rip out the cam, chaim chain and all those weird springs and something called "valves" mine does atleast 100MPH faster since I made the conversion. It also takes off weight so it handles great , only 200LBS ! BTW I also added reverse. All this only cost me $40 at Big-K [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
