I am wondering if anyone has seen a shoutout between these quads in a magazine and knows the results or where I could obtain them.

It is obvious who the shootout winner would not be, the 300EX. The 400EX is in the high preformance class and would be the winner of the shootout. The scrambler would be following close behind.

I think the Hondas will take 1st and 2nd. I don't think the scrambler is faster than the 300ex, and the 300 has better handling and suspension.

Hey where is Berea Ohio?
I ride with a couple of 300EX's. The Scrambler is way faster. In fact with just the RCR midrange kit. ($325) My Scrambler was faster than my brothers 400EX.

i own a 300ex, and a sport 400L (same engin as a scrambler 400) and the sport/scrambler is alot faster than the 300ex, but i can hang w/ the sport on a tight or rough trail, or for that matter, down a rough straigh drag strip! its all the suspension, and handling. I have never rode a 400ex, but i would need to know what kind of riding are you planning on doing???????? reply to me please

ok first of all how in the hell could a 300 4 stroke beat a 2 stroke 400, if u know anthing about the two quads u would know that little four strokes cant beat bigger 2 strokes, and my freind seen a stock 400 scrambler blow away a 400ex with fmf pipe and other mods, and my lt250r can stay right with 400ex's and the scrambler can beat my lt250r. So this is what i know about the quads

ummm buddy look what you ride..... A FRICKING BEAR TRACKER!!!!! what the heck are you talking trash about something you dont have a clue about, obviously you are a kid, since your so childish, grow up and read the facts. Yes the scrambler is faster, think about that one. and it may even be faster than a 400ex, which i doubt, but it can happen if the rider is not experienced. Anything can happen guys, so quit arguing and keep riding... Tanks!!

umm first of all buddy the guy with the bear tracker is putin it up for sale to but a scrambler, and second of all if u are saying the guy on the 400ex isnt that good of a rider he races about every weekend and gets a average of 3rd 0r 4th racing people with 440 ex's and modified quads, and last of all we ride with friends that have blasters, 400ex, scramblers, 300ex, trail blazers, banshee's just to name a few and that is how he knows what is the best.
