How do I remove the silinoid on a warn 2000lb winch. Do I really need a silinoid I think that is what is giving me problems as my winch has been acting up on me and doesn't work now.

Wire it like this, Power wire to + battery, Ground wire to solid clean bolt on frame, 4 switch wires, and don't forget to utilize a self actuating circut breaker. Thow the selinoind as far as you can. My winch is wired this way and no problems yet. Oh yeah, don't use a cheap switch, use the factory warn switch (big grey twist switch). Bye now.

I have a toggle switch that turns on and off the power for the winch and the twist type switch for the winch. I am going to have to take the side panels off to get acess to the wires right?
