This is on a 99sport. I still have the stock tires and rims and they are about half worn. With the RCR stage 1 it just wants to spin wildly when I goose it to pull a wheelie. It does hook up occasionally on hard dirt but it isn't predicteable. I understand the smaller tires will decrease my top end, but I never go over 45 anyway. I was lloking at the bandit XC's, trekkers, or holeshots in a 20" height. Any suggestions??

The smaller your rear tire, the more acceleration you have. I don't know what stock tire sizes are on those, but you can figure it out now.

The smaller the tire the more it will spin. If you want it to hook-up move further back on the seat, put bigger tires on(taller), or change gearingmore teeth up front or less in the back.

Smaller rear and larger fornt sprockets=more top speed. If thats what you meant,, sorry, I was confused.

What type of conditions do you ride in? Tires are one of the single biggest improvements to an atv

These sprockets would gear it "higher" which would intern prevent spinning so the machine would "hook-up" and wheelie.

Heres as simple as i can explain it, with shorter tires you wil get to top speed faster, but you wont have a top speed as fast as what you would with taller tires.
