ARE YOU TIRED OF YOUR 400EX BEING UNDERPOWERED, AND HAVING TO GET OFF AND PUSH IT OUT OF TIGHT CORNERS? INTRODUCING, THE OLD 2001 RAPTOR! That in my opinion is very stupid, what your saying. Its only the majority of people that say the 400ex is underpowered. What happends if the majority feels that raptors are underpowered? Will they complain? Begginers may not feel the 400ex has no power. Maybe some people even think the raptor has no power? Its only "underpowered" because you think it is, its only "underpowered" because youve been riding it so long you have gotten used to the power, but when you first got it, you took it easy, to get used to ALL THAT POWER! Tell me, what happends when you get used to the power on your raptor?

I agree with thunderpower. Once you get used to something your ready for the next level. Its human nature that we always want to go quicker and faster. I wouldn't say a stock raptor is the next level because I rode one and it wasn't all that. A trinity built model maybe?

I agree with "thunderpower". The day I got off of my 250X and jumped on my new 400EX I thought it had more power then I could ever use. Of course now I add all the hopups I can get. I also know that for a bunch of people out there, power is not the only thing they look for in a quad. I also want a quad that handles and corners. I don't care what anyone else thinks becuse I have rode Raptors and 400's both stock and with aftermarket suspention and I know that the 400 will out handle the raptor anyday of the week.

I run MX in the Midwest and at the last race I was at there was 48 quads, 2 Bombar&@*%, 3 Canadales, 1 Polaris, 1 Raptor, 1 Banshee and the rest was a mix of 400Ex's and 250R.
We run a open CC rule so if the Raptors did handle so good then they should rule the track.
Sorry but they don't.

OK one more thing, Fastn2002, If you like the Yamaha's so much why are you in the Honda Forum?
