the shock relocation kit is $187 . not sure if it works for the back shock. It seems like the only way to get travel. Those works shocks dont have much travel.

BK out of albany In. just bought new springs for his shocks and the machine handeles and rides great... no bottoming out and the ride is a lot softer. His rides far better than my 2001 250ex and also he raised the handlebars up and back 2 inches ....now you sit almost upright and not huntched over. The spring converson was like $120 and is well worth it. a 250ex rides like a log wagon anyway and there is no way to even come close to bottoming one out.

hope this helps
