Does the Rancher has a spin off oil filter? Wasn't sure from the brochure. Also, What is the average range you can get on a tank of gas. Obviously it varies with driving style. A broad range is what I'm expecting.

Thanks in advance and for all the comments from my other post. Hope to get a orange ES 4x4 next week.

The Rancher doesn't use a spin on oil filter, its the same as the filters the 450's use. All you have to do is loosen three small bolts, remove the cover and replace the filter. As for fuel range, I put on 45 miles last weekend, and used less than two gallons.

50-60 miles per tank with reserve.

Thanks Bob and Phalynx. A local dealer had a 2x4 in and showed me the oil filter. Suprised that it's not a spin off. My 14 HP Honda tractor has one. But it does look fairly simple to check or replace the existing filter.

And for fuel, I guess I can expect 40+ mile range. That's good, considering it's a smaller tank. If I need more, I'll just get a flat poly tank to mount on the rack.

P.S.: Phalynx, you've done some "innovative" add-ons. Pretty slick. Got my wheels turning and might try some of your ideas when I get mine. Where do you mount the camera for recording? In the rear compartment under the Taillight?

I mount the Digital Camcorder in a pelican case on the rear. That is the only safe place......
