Is the 4.9 inches of ground clearence on the 300EX enough to go on any trails or will it leave you wishing you had more

no it is not near enough in the woods get skid plates and a lift kit and some big tires thank you and have a good day

I had a 300 and the chain cover and disc plate was always being pryed away. I would recommend the investment of a good skid before doing that again. I am looking at one for my 400 for protection. cheaper than the costly fixes.
