Ok,
here's what my spec sheet reads,

The automotive style Honda transmission features a hydraulic torque converter, three hydro clutches and an electronic control unit[ECU]to automatically select one of three forward gears and one reverse gear. The ECU monitors throttle opening, vehicle speed, engine RPM,gear selector position, brake application and engine oil temperature. The Honda trans shifts electronically----eliminating unsightly and trouble prone vacuum lines and features engine braking, unlike conventional belt drive designs.

The ESP allows the rider to manually select gears by simply pressing two push buttons mounted on the left handlebar.

Trax loc enables the rider to shift between 2wd and 4wd with a simple thumb operated switch.

A convenient colume style shift lever permits the rider to easily select Drive,Neutral,or Reverse.[I see nothing about a LOW range]

Hope this helps you guys out?

On Honda's web site, they say it has 3 forward gears and one reverse. I take it that two of them is for drive than nuetral than reverse. I also heard from somewhere that it has a low gear on it but the computer computer shifts it in automatically for you. But thats what I heard about the low gear.

3TV,
the shifting of the gears on your own on the Rincon is nothing more than the Electric Shift Program [ESP] that is available on Honda's other Utility ATVs.

Honda is STILL missing the boat with this model,I mean, old fashion drum style brakes in the front, and it does NOT have the option to LOCK the front Diff. Its using a smaller 37mm carb opposed to the 42mm thats used on the new 660 Grizz.Im just not sold on this new Rincon yet, especially at 7599?
