alright i've been having some problems with my throttle control...ok, when i ride at a steady pace and hold the throttle for a while it begins to stick, then when this happens i have to quickly punch the throttle a few times so it stops....its scary to ride because you never know when its going to happen....like today when i went to put my quad in the trailor it did it and i almost killed myself....thats not even half the problem..when it sticks its like whatever gear your in, it floors it and goes out of control.....SOOOOO...i replaced the cable thinking that was it....nope, that wasn't it....so i took off the gas tank and inspected the carb...i took off the throttle cable from the carb and pulled out that needle float thing(i don't know what it is) but when i took it out it had alot of play in it...should there be?....also it was really clean at least the needle thing was...should it be oiled or something???....i also thought could the crb just need to be rebuilt???....or could the carb be worn out and i have to buy a new one????

this is for a honda 200sx....

SO if there are any carb experts i need your help....THANKS...sorry such a long post....

i had a similar problem with my 350x but it was due to new grips. you know how whe you buy them they have the big rubber part on the inside.....well my throttle hit that when i put them on. and it stuck WFO. in to the back of my garage but i grabbed the clutch in time. i dont know if this is going to help at all. but i am thinking you ahve a pinch of bend in your cable so it wil do that. check the cable routing and maby the grip.
