400EX v 650Prarie
#1
I am a fairly quick shifter but there is no way I can beat my dad's 650P on any surface rolling or dead stop with my 300EX(drags). Will a 400EX do it?
Has anyone pared them up, what where the results?
Thanks....

I have heard that 650 is darn fast for a utility quad, but I would guess that yes a 400ex would take it, or maybe we should all watch out for those sleeper utility qauds! A race machine hidden under the racks...

King 250r, you had my attention there for a second, gook come back!(HaHa)
Lonestarbanshee, there is no "could" to it, on level ground, as long as the guy on the 650 can move his thumb, you are goeing to loose(!PERIOD!).
How about with the"400", I know there has to be someone who has pared up the two, so how about it 400EX fans? The guy on ATV Television says it will out drag a 400, who knows the FACTS???
Later, it has been fun reading anyway!!!

In the kawi room thier is a feller named jeffoxsr, he has the 400EX and prairie 650.
He has posted many times that the prairie beats the 400 EX in a drag and I seen a few others post the same.
I have no first hand knowledge but I have seen that posted in a bunch of places.
I have road the 650, and yes it is very believable, that thing absolutely flies. If they stick that engine in a sport frame, now that would be interesting.
