Oil.

Ok,on a 250R when they say to lube the transmission. They do just mean to change the oil and put more in right? Or does the 250R have transmission fluid? If I remeber the oil that you put in lubes the tranny too.

Some guys prefer to use 80W transmission oil and some use four stroke engine oil [Ex:10W40 or 20W50].

The oil lubes the transmision only.

The crank and crank bearings are only lubed by the oil in your pre-mix.

So,the oil that you mix in your gas lubes the engine while the oil you put in lubes the tranny?
