Your opinions on pros or cons. Is it worth getting even for trail\hill rideing? How do you guyes make hair-pin right handers with a thumb throttel?

Thanks...

If you're only trail riding, I think it's worth it. I have a XC type course with some small jumps tossed in there behind my house, and I could go through it much faster with the twisty than with a thumb throttle, but I mess up more on jumps. Try someone elses quad with a twist and see if you like it first.

I put one on my R, loved it for smooth fast riding but when I was jumping, rough terrain, technical stuff I hated it. Hard right corners are no problem with a thumb.....

Buy a used or cheap one like I did and see if you like it.

A twist would seem uncomfortable for me unless I didn't have a thumb.
When you come down on a jump a your hands hit the handle bars an accident could happen real easily with the twist throttle. ALL the quad pros are using the thumbs.
