And now, a completely different air filter question...
#1
Along the line with the never-ending K&N versus Foam air filter, I have a different question.
Our 250EX came with a foam air filter from the factory. Would there be any advantage to switching to a Uni filter? If so, what would be the advantage?
In other words, why is the Uni foam filter a better filter than the stock Honda foam filter?
Cory (still trying to figure these dang things out...)

The worst thing on the Hondas is that metal screen thing that goes inside the filter. The dealer says it is actually a spark arrestor, in case it backfires into the carburator. This thing is more restrictive than any filter!! I don't think it matters what filter you use as long as that thing is in there, your airflow is going to really suffer.
