Yeah, the ATC is faster. Less weight = more speed. Same reason the 250 dirtbikes are so fast.

 

IS HONDA'S NEW 650 EVEN OUT YET?? AND WHY WOULD THEY MAKE A 4X4 THAT GOES FASTER THAN THERE TOP SPORT QUAD?? THINK ABOUT IT!!

 

I guess that is right yodaddy, I just thought it was a little "detuned" or something, I saw one in action not to long ago and it didn't seem like it would hang with the 250r quad, but I could be wrong. But it would make sence if the motor is identical, and the machine is lighter, then yes it is faster. Well, talk to ya later man..

 

Lancer - I don't think they had that in mind. They aren't going to hold back their utility just because their top hi-per quad is slow (no offence 400ex riders). Honda has to keep up w/ the competition and have to make their Rincon faster than the competition and the competitions 600 + cc utilities are faster than the 400ex too. One day, Honda will try to keep up w/ the competition in the sport quad ranks too... or atleast I hope so.

 

the grizzlys top speed is close to that of the raptor, but it wont get there nearly as fast, but it will get there eventually....

not many people realize this , but ill say it again....most big bore utilities are fast as the competition in the hi performance quads...
