Do you have the owner's manual that came with it? It has detailed instructions on how to do it. If not, I believe the drain bolt is on the lower left (standing in back of the quad) If memory serves me,you don't have to remove the metal diff guard to drain,but I would just to keep the mess to a minimum. After it is done draining,replace the drain bolt,open up the fill hole cover(you can take it off before you start to let it drain faster) and add gear lube,I'm not sure the exact type Honda requires,some like 75-90, 80-90, thicker won't hurt in warm weather. Add to just below the fill hole,close it up,run it around a little,then check the level after it sits a little,if it still looks good, you're all set. I hope this is enough info for you to do the job.
