enclosed trailer setup
#1
Couple of questions. You guys that have enclosed trailer. What kind of setup do you have? Cabinets? Bench's? My main question is I want to run some florescent lights in there. The trailer ones give off no light. I also want to run some power outlets. And run all of that off a generator. But my only concern is with the florescent lights. The 4 footer are the ones that the light bulb twists into. And I was thinking they might rattle out during transportation. The 8 footer have a spring loaded bulb! Will that work better? Any other suggestions for lighting?
thanks

I have an 18' Interstate box trailer, tandem axle with side door. We built base and overhead cabinets across the front with countertop. On one side we built shelves for the TV, VCR and Microwave. I had it wired for generator power utilizing two 500watt halogen lights and two double receptacles front and rear (mounted on the ceiling). Also two receptacles across the front for the TV, VCR, Microwave and Coffee pot/ electric skillet. We painted the inside white and the floor gray. The 500watt lights are bright and also put off enough heat to take the dampness out of the trailer. At the track we sleep in the trailer and put the quads right outside the side door, covered up.

I was thiking halogens but was sure if they would be too hot in the summer. thanks for the info..
