All of the 300's had the superlow. It took care of having 2 gear ranges, because its not often that you use low range in anything other than 1st. I have when pulling a trailer, but for the large percentage of applications, the superlow first does excellent. Thats why yamaha ditched the dual range on its manual quads, and lowered the 1st gear.
