In the specs of the Rincon, they show it with only a 850lb towing capacity. This doesn't sound good for those who want to put on big tires. It seems real low compared to the other big bores (sp700 1500lbs and the Grizz and Kawi over 1200lbs). Is the tranny going to be that weak, or are they being reaaaal conservative.

I would bet the Honda numbers are low because of theri drum brakes. Lowered because of their inability to stop, not their ability to pull.

They've always been conservative there. My rancher says 850, and I assure you it's been over it many times without a problem

All honda's say 850lbs. Its a honda thing to do with safety and liability. Sure they can tow a lot more than the reccomendation, but it keeps honda's hands clean of any lawsuits where someone is injured while still towing within reccomended limits.

Towing capactiy is zero because there is not hitch, its not standard. So without a hitch you can't put anything. I have no idea why some quads don't come standard with hitchs.
