How is the Shee "the bike to beat" in a drag when a 500R works it like it does a stock Raptor?

The answer is pretty simple, the Banshee wins every important quad drag racing event!!! This is why!

Its like comparing an older big-block powered muscle car to a newer camaro or mustang......The Raptor does it with finesse while the Zilla uses brute force........Stock for stock, $ for $ (not including purchase price), the 499.5cc powerer-valved 2 stroke will always out power the 660. Add pipes, filters, jet kits, port/polish jobs, etc, to both machines, and yes, the LT will still be wompin' the 660 a$$. I think the only advantage to having a Raptor is its new, has reverse, and is cute, short, and narrow (hey, not every one likes a DS-sized machine).

I have a nice little story about my ZIlla before I restored it against to brand spanking new raptors, but I've typed it on here a good many a time and I don't have ambition right now...lemme know and I have a "story time" heh heh...............Latah.......

Hey, I've got 21x12x9 mudsharks on the rear of my Zilla, and those babies bite and give wonderful forward traction, although they don't really "shine" in the corners, but if you keep them spinning, well, that really doesn't matter......I like them in 21's because I get a wee bit more clearance than a 20, but not such a big-looking tire in the wheel well like a 22-inch would.....good clearance AND fender gap........All my riding pals have learned not to stay too close in the sand or mud because they will throw massive rooster tails (unfortunately, I get covered, too), but, hey, what's wrong with that? I say give them a try if you can't decide what to run for rear tires.......Oh, they also seem to be wearing very well (as in, not hardly at all)...Latah....

LT500R runs away from a banshee likes it does a Raptor or whatever he just said. PUT THE PIPE DOWN. Drugs are not the answer. Like was said, I have seen a few, VERY few 500's actually run worth a crap, usually they arent tuned or whatever. Out of all the 500's Ive raced, i got beat by one(he was ported, I was not, at the time) Now that i am, hes history.. Sorry the 500R aint all that. for Torque and hill climbing sure, drag racing, ill take that banshee anyday..

Hey 350X, I see you are in Prescott. Lets hook up and see whats what! they have sand drags every other week just off the carefree highway. Timing lights and time slips the whole nine yards, lets have a friendly race..

Do you want to try and meet up in two weeks? They just had the races last night. They are pretty fun. Either Fri or Saturday. Friday is better because its more of a test and tune night, make as many runs as you want and they have grudge match racing..
