There was nobody to tow me back, and I wasn't gonna walk 10 miles back to my house to get oil and a wrench to change it out there either.

Man, that would have sucked! It would have made me sick to start my bike up. It only had 80 miles on it when I sunk it. The carbs were full of water. When I got home, had to get out shop-vac to get water out. Worked pretty good. Changed oil 5 times and fired that ***** up. Water went everywhere & she spit & sputtered for a minute, but the started running fine. Changed oil & filter, & she's running good today.

Back to the smoke color thing....

White smoke is coolant burning (not really sure if it is from the antifreeze or the water???)

Light blue smoke, which looks a lot like white smoke, is oil burning.

Black smoke is from being rich and burning a lot of fuel.

The only place i can figure i got water in it was when we crossed brush creek, I never sunk it so i dont see how it got in the engine but its aight now, Ive chenged the oid twice since found water in it, It dont seem to be smokin now, maybe the oil had just got thin, Ill keep an eye on it just incase though.
