where did you all order your tires?

NorthernEdge-- You are right, shipping is a factor. I thought that Cals400ex was from California.
ALSO check out East KY. Motorsports <www.4atvtires.com> these folks generally are very competitive in price and service to Rky. Mtn. ATV.

Bought my Goodyear Mud Runners from Treadepot, was very satisfied with price and service. At the time Rocky Mountain did not sell Goodyear, they do now and they are less money than anyone else. I just got 2 more helmets and goggles from Rocky Mountain and everything was fine. Have bought from them several times and have always been very satisfied.

thanks for all of the replies. i really appreciate it. yeah i did not know if the turf tamers were durable or not. i really considered the bandits but i thought they may be too heavy. i don't know if some of those tt tires would be better for me or not because i mainly ride on roads. thanks for the help

I don't think Hoosiers or anything along those lines would work out to good for you. I'm sure you ride off road sometimes and they would be a b!tch on trails and what not. Check out those Desert Dogs... they aren't to terribly heavy (heavier than the Tamers, but lighter than Bandits), they're 6-ply, they get great forward traction, and yet you can throw them around a corner nicely without them grabbing real bad and throwing you into a tree.
