I beleave the E is for electric start and the X is for woods..,XC..thats MO. They would have had to call the 400EX the 400ER.....not very appealing to me.

PS MR. 350X your link doesn't work.

It seems to work good for me after I clear my cashe and internet files.

Yeah, the 400 Emergency Room.

I believe the E stands for electric start, and the X signifies that it is a four stroke.
