Why the change from the "R" and racer, to sportrax EX, and quadsport?
Why didnt they name it the Suzuki Quadracer Z400?
Back in 99' why didnt honda release the new "Fourtrax 400R"?
(in 99' the 400EX WAS the "Fourtrax&quot

I guess its because they are 4 strokers, mainly.
The EX does have good race potential, just the old R's do.
The Z400 also has good race potential, just like the old racers.

Maybe its just that the makers are more focused on recreational riding, and not racing.

I guess Im just bored... eh?

If they use the letter R or "racer", the manufactures would be setting their self up for another lawsuit when Little Timmy falls of his daddy's quad and breaks his neck. But by using "ex" or "LTZ" they are named as a recreational vehicle which are not supposed to be raced. Therefore if Little Timmy cracks his head, then the manufacturer is protected. just my .02

It's amazing that Budweiser, and those other beer companies are still in business. I figured someone would have gotten in a drunk driving accident and then took the beer companies to court.

I was just thinking about that. Yamaha must have some politicians in there back pocket.ha ha, I mean, they kept the Banshee alive thru all that lawsuit crap, and they still rub it in by putting an "R" on the Raptor. TWO thumbs up for Yamaha! Now if they would put the Vmax motor in a Polite like thing, I would be happy.

It's kinda funny how Yamaha did keep the Banshee going and the others "had" to bow out. Interesting, ain't it?!
