Why I bought a Honda
#1
I went to my cabin in Alaska last week and rolled my Rubicon out from under the porch where it had been stored for 12 months. I got the battery out of the cabin where it had also been stored for 12 months and put it back in the ATV. I put the seat back on (stored in the cabin also because the bears like to eat them), checked the oil and turned the fuel line on (left the tank full after adding gas stabilizer). I sat on the ATV, put the key in, and pulled the choke on. I pushed the starter button once and the engine fired up without a moments hestiation. Thats why I bought a Honda.

I bought my raptor cause i wanted to go fast. I added a pipe and jet kit to go faster. Not fast enough so i had Trinity racing bore it, port it, re work it. Now i have torn it down again to re modd it with more parts. I hope this time it is fast enough.

14mins, is anything ever really fast enough?
I hate riding the 400ex's. Bought the banshees because they are a rush to ride and 250R's are overrated. I love Honda's reliability but they no longer have the ***** to build anything that is thrilling.
Every Honda I have ever owned (between atv's, street and dirtbikes we are talking about 30-40) was really cold natured though, they never would have started that easily.

I will say one thing at all the different places we ride in NY I see more old Hondas still running strong than any other brand. Even on the streets of Rochester where I live I see more old Honda street bikes than any other brand.
I must also admit that like WYOduner says they are usually cold blooded. I have had two different honda quads and after sitting for a few days it takes a couple minutes to get it started. After a couple minutes of riding the quad starts fine for the rest of the day but at first it's a bit of a pain.

I wish our Rubi started like that, if it sets 2 months, In summer weather you might as well plan on chokin the heck out of it and almost burnin a battery up in it b4 it starts, but after that it is good till it sits or a while again.
