why HONDA'S are the BEST
#11
Yea don't think I didn't catch hell from the guys at work on that one!
I came home from a date at 3AM & the house was on the ground (I live out in the country) I was building a shop so all my tools parts & stuff was in the house. I had all the parts to restore my 69 SS RS Camaro in there too. I sold the Camaro to finish the shop. My Ins sucked too (State Farm) Now I have full replacement cost on house, shop & contents.
I run 6'18's @ 49.01 mph on a 100 yard sand track. vilnrk made a pass & did a 5.70 something at 50+ mph (he weighs a little less than me!!), That was in April before I had it dialed in right. He broke his leg & I haven't been able to have him try it again.
With the stock shocks on it yes the front end came up fast & stayed there, it would hit the wheelie bar hard & lift the rear tires off the ground, Now I have struts on the front (11 1/2" & it launches much flatter & gets on the wheelie bar very softly. The front end stays up till half way through 2nd gear.
