What carb for a 440EX?
#1
Does any one know of any Dyno test results for after market Carbs for a 400EX or a built 440 kit.
I'm looking for some imput on a good carb, I know that TC likes the Lectron and Sparks likes the Kleihn. I'd like to some numbers or hear from some one that has tried diffrent crabs.
I still run a stock with the choke removed and have thought about having it board.
Thanks for any input...

I believe the Edelbrock and Lectron carbs are very similar. In my own opinion, the FCR carb from Keihn isn't worth it.
I would definately go with a Lectron. A friend of mine had one on his 330RX, and it was SWEET. It seemed to require a little more maintence, but was definately worth it. Good luck on your decision.
Also, something a little cheaper... You can get your stock carb worked on. I know many people that have taken the choke mechanisms out, and had their stockers taper bored. Both seem to help alot.
