A reverse on a 400ex?
#11
Ever ridden a 300EX and tried to engage the left-sided reverse lever while still holding in the clutch? It's a nice option but a pain! At any rate, I too looked at the 300EX before buying my Warrior, but only two weeks after getting it rode a 400EX and realized I had made a mistake, and will now soon be trading my Warrior for the machine I shoulda bought in the first place. Having reverse is handy though, but personally it's not something that would influence which machine I may or may not buy--not having reverse also means one less thing that could break. In actuality it all depends on what your needs are, but if you're looking in the sport arena I say go with the 400EX...it's not something you're gonna outgrow any time soon.

One thing for those of you that are used to big ute quads to consider:
Reverse is not as important on a 400EX as it is on a big utility machine, the 400EX is very easy to get off of and move around if need be. It obviously weighs much less.
