Been riding on a straightened axle for 12 years now, and its time to get this piece of crap replaced. Hubs are worn out and the brakes hit the drum every half revolution because of the ever so slight bend in the axle.

Hey Andy,

About 6 years ago, Honda issued a parts bulletin on the rear axles of the TRX300 models.

The updated parts are made in America. It consists of a axle, both hubs, and new nuts for just over $200.00....this for the entire kit.

You have to purchase everything in the kit because the hubs you have now will not fit nor will the nuts.

Have your local dealer check on the update and give you his retail price.

Gracias. A salvage dealer told me that very think last fall, but I think he had his prices jacked pretty high. I wondered if there was any online place you could actually find parts for older quads.
