OK
I found my engine. I haven't bought it yet, but it's as good as mine.
It's a 750 Honda road race bike 4 cylinder engine.
At this point, I need some help on picking a frame to run with this motor. I am building this to enter the FourStrokeWars with, so I need some help with it on a know how basis. I wont bore you guys with all the little details. I have an indepth description of my needs in a topic under the Yamaha forum. Thanks for any help that you can provide.
Thanks,
SirClip

SirClip,

There is more than just one type of 750 engine. Depending on which one you have depends on what type of frame you might want to run. Post some case numbers up. As I said before, I have no capabilites of transferring ownership nor would I if I could...geeeesh.

We can't help you unless you provide more speciffic information.

Its a 750 V4. I refuse to give you all the numbers, but I will give you a few of the first digits. I just can't trust everyone, so i will not give you the last few numbers. Maybe you can help me decide what year it is and what type of bike it came from exactly. The number is RC30E-22*****
Sorry about blasting you the other day. I apppreciaate any help you may have. I was just appauled at the responses regarding my superquad. I know its different but what makes that a bad thing?

If it helps any, the guy THOUGHT that it came from a VFR750 but he couldn't be for sure because he lost track of the owner before him. I also went back and did some more looking and its fuel injected. The computer thingys are still with the engine. the coil packs are too.

Thanks!!!,
SirClip

LMAO!!

I know for a fact that you don't have this engine. If you did, you could sell it and buy a Raptor and every modification out there available for it.

That's a good SirClip. No bites here though.

One of my friends has an old RC-30 hasnt ridden it in years. Those things cost like $30,000. If you have that motor you wont have to shift it is geared to go almost 100mph in first gear.

Can I get some back ground info about this RC30 bike? It sounds pretty cool.

$30000 for a street bike? What company made this bike? I also would like to know what it takes for a bike to be worth 30k. Knowsalot you can probably fill me and yamahagye in on this little bit of info...

It's a Honda, and the RC30 was a superbike put into production, just like the RC45, for conglomeration rules. It was Honda's attempt to make a racebike available for privateers to break into the upper echelons of the sport.

Now Honda makes the RC51 (currently the SP-2 now, the SP-1 being the earlier versions) for this purpose. While priced quite a bit lower than the earlier RC-versions, it still follows their heritage.
