Does anyone know of an aftermarket company that sells a steering stabilizer for a Rubicon? I found PEP, Muscle and Denton stabilizers for MX applications, but nothing for Sport/Utility applications.

My reason for inquiring is this; three times now when trail riding on a narrow trail my right front tire has clipped the end of a log that was hidden in the bushes. The result of the impact was jerking the bars out of my hands (darn near breaking my wrists in the process) as they turned to the right. Inertia allowed my body to keep moving for a short duration of time only to be stopped by the end of the right handle bar digging into my thigh.

Any and all info/opinions is greatly appreciated,

PEP made one for my raptor and theyre really popular on street and race bikes. It was a b!tch to install but it works great. hope this helps.

it sure does need one, had the same thing happen to me! ALso it is very Very twitcy when in a corrner on blacktop- man just a sneeze and your rolled. No other quad iv ridden is so odd on blacktop
