I need to minimize vibration. Need Help!
#1
I have a 400ex. I've been wanting to modify the handle bars to minimize the vibration. Recently I broke my wrist and need it now more than ever. I know there is some anti-vibration inserts out there. Does anyone one know about any combinations of handle bars and inserts that might work best?

Try a set of ProTapers. If that's not enough, get/make some heavy bar inserts.
Lots of guys use silicon, however, remember that mass damps vibration. Vibration is movement. The greater the mass being moved, the more energy it takes. Thus a heavy object will vibrate less than a light one.

Hey sandluvr, If you just wait and let your arm heal you would be able to go riding with the great pumpkin and me. Then maybe you could go all out and not worry about the arm. Just wait and let it heal is the best thing to do. Pismo was fun even if I rode sat only. I will do it again if I had to.

Hey Scoot. Whats up? I can tell you had fun! I'm glad you went. I just wish i could have road a lot more. I really wanted to go to comp hill at night. I still need to reduce vibration though. It will help keep my hands from getting tired and sore so quick. That means more riding time!!!
