I have seen many different shocks put on the front of the Canondales, but don't know of any that interchange with the rear.

400EX stock shocks and 400EX Works Triple Rates will fit the front. So will the Z400 stock shocks. There are many others I am sure, but these are the ones that I have done first hand.

I didn't meen interchanging from front to rear. My dilema is I don't want to put a fortune into my ex unless I can reuse some of the parts when I'm ready to get a dale. I know I can reuse the carbon fiber rims because the bolt pattern is the same. What I was trying to figure out was if I bought a set of PEP shocks for my ex could I take them off and reuse them on a Dale. The fronts are a possibility but the rear shock on the ex has shock linkage and the Dale is linkless so I figured I would probably have to by another PEP shock for the Dale regardless. I was also worried that even if I could put the PEPs from the front of the ex on the Dale would they just work or would they be the right shock. I'm basically wondering if I ordered a set for the ex or the Dale would they send me the same set? or would there be a difference.

 

I am not sure about that. you would have to call the company and find out. If they use different part numbers, something is different somewhere.
