I have a 400ex, wb e-pipe, wb rev kit, and 20" skattrak haulers (7 paddle). I have the power, but i'm spinning and usually dig in and have to turn around. would a larger or smaller sprocket help? front or rear? I'm hitting the base of the hill usually in third and in 1st or 2nd at the top pending on the sand hill. I've tried shifting my weight and paddles are at 3psi. HELP!

When does the sprocket size get increased? is it best on front or back?

It's cheaper to change the front sprocket.

Use a bigger front sprocket for higher top speed. Use a smaller front sprocket for more pull or acceleration, but less top speed.

Fasttrax you might want to just get a new set of paddles. maybe some 8 or even 10 paddles. if you are spinning your wheels you are making the power to pull a bigger set. I wouldn't change the sprocket until you wear the stock ones out. Remember that you will not keep up with a two stroke going up Oldsmobile or anyother big sand hill. It's just what 4 strokes can't do very fast. Anyway i hope this helps you
