I'm not trying to pi$$ you off but I don't believe 50hp out of 250X. If you can prove it I'll buy into it.

http://www.powroll.com/honda_trx_400ex.htm they give % increases here and the math isn't hard at all. I can find more if you want but even our local race shop gives very similar numbers and your talking 46,47 maybe 48 but the engine will be tuned within an inch of it's life. I don't think any shop will tell you there is reliability issues with their work but increase any engines hp by 80% and reliability will definitely be less than a conservative stock motor.

 

50 RWHP out of a 250cc single cylinder 4 stroke engine...What is it running on "nuclear wastes"?
And of top of it they were racing these things...Give me a break man!
A 250X putting out 50HP would maybe run for 2-3 secs before the " BIG BANG" !!!!!

What makes you so knowledgeable about this anyhow? Are you an engine builder? I am sure Sparks was pulling the same if not similar HP numbers also, call him! The last engine TC built for Spader was a twin carb'd 250X with a prototype 6 spd tranny! He was outrunning Banshees at Deerfield's(ohio) TT track! I have been aroudn these things long enough to know when some one if BS'n and I have seen this 50 hp+ 250X run with my own eyes!

And if 50 Hp is os lame and you think TC is Bs'n, then why do you even bother to reply?.

He is an MX builder and doesnt stand a chance.This is why...And yes 50 RWHP is lame ....Now go suck is butt if you want to i dont care.By the way if he ever builds you a 50 RWHP 250x dont even bother entering a race unless it is a 50FT race because you wont finish it...........

I was thinking of your reasoning of why TC doesn't compete right after I posted my last post, but didn't go back and edit.

He porbably doesn't care about the contest because he has a great reputation now! He doesn't need extra advertising!

And as for the 50HP 250X, you go on thinking what you want, but there is and was such a thing and Spader ran it all 92 season! He ran it for the 4 stroke class and the open class at Deerfield everytime they ran! So that is multiple motos(at least 4) in one night and practice! Again, you think what you want since you're unwilling to make a phone call and would rather argue from behind your computer!

 

Why would i call someone who i cant careless about...I could ask you to call my own engine builer...Why would i???? He could tell you anything...Who gives a fuc...Like i said before beleive all you want if it pleases you...If Your TC guy is able to get 50 RWHP out of a 250X then all those other guys must be idiots only getting 75 RWHP out of a 400cc alky hybrid 250R...Just think about it fool......
