How much HP for a K&N power up kit
How much horsepower will a complete K&N power up kit give a 2000 - 2003 foreman 450. I know K&N says 15% but I am wondering if anyone has installed the complete package and actually felt or dynoed the HorsePower increase. I don't trust marketing info.

Yes stock muffler, I am not against an aftermarket, as long as its quiet.
I am guesing the 450 Foreman has 22 HP that would be a 3 HP gain at 15%, That sounds worth while.
Can you actually feal the difference? I had my old quadracer 250 ported, the engine builder (Eric Gores forward motion racing) swore a 15-20% increase and I never felt it, but that was fast to start.
I am not looking for Grizzly power, just a tad more.

The power up kit includes jets, filter, and outerware, are you saying that the jet kit does nothing? I am also putting a second intake pipe on the airbox to up under the tank, with the extra intake and better flowing filter are you saying there is no need to rejet or are you saying that the powerup jets are no good. It seems me that rejetting is what will make the biggest difference along with a new exhaust.

What he is probably saying is you can buy the filter and outerwear separate and purchase stock jets that are larger from your dealer and get the same results for a cheaper price. Filters are usually 25.00 to 30.00 an outerwear is 10.00 and a jet will run you around 4.00 to 5.00 bucks.
