I was wondering b/c I will be gettin a new quad this upcoming summer or a little after summer. It will either be the 450ex or the raptor. I know it's a long time to summer but just wonderin if anyone had a clue to when it will be out.

My sources tell me the new steel framed Honda 400cc class machine will be available in stores or at the very least introduced by September of next year.

Look for distinctive new plastic, bold new graphics, and exciting new engine technology for ATVs. This will be the machine to have with the best stock suspension available and Honda's legendary handling capabilities. The all new liquid-cooled powerplant will feature an advanced head design and a more free flowing exhaust system than any other stock machine available today. Horsepower rating is rumoured to be in the neighborhood of Cannondale's high end territory, but in a much more lightweight package. And, as always, Honda reliability will be the order of the day.

Honda would have introduced this machine as expected on September 12, but decided at the last moment to wait. This was due in part to see if the possibe change of GNCC rules would allow for an engine size of 450cc. Honda's wait-and-see attitude, like it or not, is solely in the best interest of their customers. Although Honda does not support a factory race effort, they do want their customers to have as much of an advantage as possible over the stock offerings available from their closest competitors.

Keep the faith. Honda's got quite a goody just waiting in the wings.

Honda has released no info on a new quad so no one can tell you when it is coming. Best bet never! buy what you want and don't wate on Honda.
