You have to mix gas on an R...unless a 2-stroke has a faulty Injector system you have to mix.

 

I would take my Shee over a run of the mill 250r any day. I couldnt imagine doin the stuff I do on this banshee with a 250r. I just dont think that little 250 1 cylinder would be up to it. I mean sure, there is probably some awesome 250r's out there that can do anything and then some. But u'd have to spend a quite a bit on it to make it that good. My Shee is the most reliable thing Ive ever ridden. Starts up everytime I try, and has yet to fail. Not to rip on the 250r AT ALL, its a great quad. For the loss of power over a shee, I just think a 250r wouldnt be worth it. But try out both quads and dont be in to much of a hurry to buy. It seems like anytime I buy anything at all, I always see something for alot cheaper only a few days later. So make sure u look around. Inspect the quad you are lookin at very extensivly, especially if its a 250r. They are known for cracked frames and many people have beat on them over the years. Maybe take a look at Tecates too. They compare to 250r's in the power dept, and are also very good handlers. But as I said, if it was my choice, it would be a Banshee in a heart beat...
