How does your Rincon do coming downhill?

I have a Honda Rincon that I am very happy with. However, I am wondering if my torque converter is working correctly when I descend hills. I get a slight hint of slowdown around 8mph but it continues to accelerate until I use my brakes to slow it down. My boy works at a Honda shop and he has asked the shop foreman and they seem to think the torque converter should slow it down reasonably well. Does your Rincon hold back on steep downhills?

So far,the lack of real good engine braking on steep downhills is my only complaint with my Rincon.I also feel it should have better engine braking, but im not loosing any sleep over it.
To acheive the best possible engine braking that the Rincon has,put the Rinny in 4wd,and ESP mode, and use 1st gear. You'll notice a differance.
