Recently I have been talking Feather Carbon for the past week or two about making hoods for 250x's and 300ex's.... These hoods will be like the 250R carbon fiber hoods with the scoops.

As of right now I am just posting this to see how many would be interested and this is not a definate thing yet. But I was told if we had enough interest we could get these hoods made.

Also, we talked about having them make the small piece that goes around the gastank cap as well as the large piece that goes around the tank and the steering stem.

If we get enough interest on all of these parts, we can make this happen!

So if I can get enough people together and present this to them to show there is enough interest in these parts, they can make them!

Prices were discussed on the hoods but nothing else. If we can get enough people interested on the hoods, they will be about the same price as the 250R hoods(if we can get 5+ people). As far as the other pieces, I will find out once there is enough interest. Also, I will be sending them my stock parts to build the molds after and they will probably have a better idea on price once they see the parts in person.

So please list if you are interested and hopefully we can make this happen! Please specify what you are interested in and if you are 100% in or if you want to wait and see a definate price. Like I said the hoods will be around the 250R prices which are about $125...

If the prices were good enough then i would be interested.....i think that would be a really good idea.....i have an '87 250X...well tell me if you can make this happen and how i could order them.....im out

 

The price would be right aroudn the same price as the 250R hoods which are about $125... I am sending my stock hood to Feather so they can make the mold. The hoods are a go!

Have you ever seen the Carbon Fiber hoods on the 250R's or 400ex's with the scoops?
