mod blaster vs stock 400exer!!

Default mod blaster vs stock 400exer!!

of anything a blaster should beat a mojave
200cc 2 stroke
250cc 4 stroke
and the blaster is like 50lb lighter

Default mod blaster vs stock 400exer!!

my blaster is far from stock if you read it has strut suspension on it right now for sand drags only and i run 10 paddle haulers my motor has 227lbs of copression right now with less than an hour of run time on it i run an out of frame drag pipe and i am running on race alchohol mixed 28:1 with benol racing oil the only thing limiting my horsepower is my ignition now i garantee i can beat and stock 400 and 99%piped at leastthe blaster can be made very fast i run a 35.5mm ftz alky carb with a power jet hetrick racing did additional porting to my motor after i got it back from ct it is a 72.5 mm bore with a stock stroke i run +4 advanced timing, a carbon fiber clutch and everything that can be is aluminum and unecessary parts have been removed

piped 03 mohave,, friend ownes late eightees piped 200 blaster, he popps wheelies better but every other way i beat him , i do 57 he does 50 and itake off qicker

and to tell you the truth for how old his blaster is, its adang good machine i wonder if the mohave will run that good in ten years or so , no matter im selling the mohave and getting the z ,mohave is to small fer me

my mohave only puts out 21 hp ,, the z is putting out around 29 to 30 stock

you do have a point with any quad can beat another
ya i'm sure you'll like the new z it should be good
and ya the fact that the blaster is older it might need a rebuild
stock blaster top speed from what i hear for a blaster is about 55mph and with toomeys its spose to be 65 according to dw
what pipe does he have
but whatever there are lots of variables

oh ya mine would probably be similar to yours in hp its spose to put out 26 according to dw but thats not at the rear wheels so probably like around 20 at the rear wheels is my guess.

So much talk about the blasters compared to high performance quads. Ok well lets say you put on a 440 kit, new shocks, new axles the works. Thats gona cost prolly more then a 400ex. Maybe it could compete or win a drag but when ur mostly riding who cares about the drag, the blaster is a machine made mostly for beginners, when you need more power move on to a banshee, raptor, 250r, 400ex, or the z400

pauleo i get where your comming from and ya i will be moving up to bigger machine and yes you would have to pay lots of money to gett all that done but some people just don't think it can be done
