Can someone recommend a nice loading ramp for a ATV? Maybe something that can be folded or retractable for easy storage?

There's a wide variety out there. Basically there's aluminum: light, no rust, more expensive but probably worth it. Then there's Steel: heavier, but cheaper.
Try rockymountainatv.com or dennis kirk. I've seen them in local stores also.

 

I bought mine at Farm and Fleet (now Tractor Supply Company ). I bought the steel version, you can see them here,Ohio Steel. I bought them in 1997 and they are still like new. Never slipped on them with mud/snow/rain on the quads and ramps. (not even when walking on them!) I highly recommend this brand.
The steel ones weigh about 40 lbs each but will hold 2000 lbs. a pair. They work great for loading the riding mower too!
When folded I can put one under each quad, (I have a flat bed), in a regular truck bed I put one under and one next to the quad.

 

I bought a set of tri fold aluminum ramps at lowe's and I a pretty pleased with them. Since I am loding a large utility into a S-10 shortbed, I have to drive the front wheels over the wheel wells while the back wheels are still on the ramp. The ramps I bught have chains on the top with "S" hooks so you can attach them to the tabs that hold your tailgate closed. This keeps the ramps from ever slipping out even if you back wheels push on the ramp to get traction. They cost $117

 

Just make sure you can attach it to your truck so it wont flip out from under you.

 

Yea we have the aluminum tri fold ramps with the S-hooks and it works great. I would highly recomend them..

 

i have the alum ramp tops with 2x12 wood planks.. probably not the safest but it works...only cost me like $30
