we found a atv on the side of the road in missouri we turned it into the police and the ran the VIN # and found it was never registered not reported stolen. U have to tell me what kind year color and place where it was lost. if no one says anything in year we get it.

Well this is just like "Who wants to b an ATV owner". I'll use my lifeline - I think I lost a Honda TRX200 in Missouri a couple weeks ago - can I have it back now?

I think you did the right thing when you turned it into the police.. I hope the owner finds it. I would hate to have lost mine.

We also own atv's and if we lost one we would like for the person that found it to try to return it it was only about 4 lanes across the highway from our house and it would only take a minute to ride it home and keep it but we would like to return it to its rightfull owner the key was in it and it started right up the handlebars were bent due to the fall it took off the back of a truck or trailer.

 

B.. that's interesting.. makes you wonder if someone was transporting it and it fell off their trailer...a few things come to mind.

one, why didn't they notice it?

two, maybe they also were pulling a camping trailer and didn't see it fall off?

three, maybe they stole it and it fell off..
They were too scared to go back and get it?
