Default Vibration after rebuild 250r

I recently rebuilt my 250r motor, and the entire quad. After driving it on the weekend it has a terrible vibration. It has been a year and a half since I was last on it.

The marks for the counterbalancer and it main gear are alligned. All bearings are new and good, I hope good. Mounts are tight, and rechecked.

I just want some input. I do not know if this could be caused by timing, because it is not adjustable, from memory.

Or is this just the nature of the beast. Because I just dont remember, its been to long since I rode it last. Because other than the shakes it runs perfect.

Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

Other than the counterbalancer, I can't think of any reason it should vibrate. Are you POSITIVE you have it on right? It will vibrate just as bad 1 tooth of as opposed to 10.

If I remenberd it correctly the two dots on the counterbalance gear and its main gear the one that says "out" if I remember correct. I am going to rip into it again and I may move it a position. But the two dots are streigh across from one an other. I guess I will just waste a lot of oil.

Make sure the gear is aligned to the crank also.

How far are you bored to. If you go over .060 use a cast piston not a forged they are lighter. The counter balance can only overcome .040 over forged piston. Once past that the vibration starts to get worse. If you painted your frame run a ground wire from the motor to the ground wire at the frame. A poor ground can cauuse a missfire and a bunch of strange problems.

Did the flywheel not get seated proper? if a motor mount is just sightly loose it will cause vibration that it the first thing I'd check. My mojave did the same thing after a rebuild and I found it to be a broken motor mount.

Thanks I am going to pull the cases off tonight or tomarrow. Recheck everything. I am at a .08? over
(4th overbore) I plan to reseat the flywheel, check the gear alignment and I will a ground wire. Also I did paint my frame but striped all areas that the motor mounted.
I was expecting vibrations from the bigger piston but this is far to excessive!
I'll know more in a few days
Again thanks.
