Which Year For The Honda 250R is The best (In Your Own Opinion)
#11
As long as it't not a trike, they all are awesome!
A 2-stroke 250r on a trike? What is the sense!
I think trikes should be outlawed. Its like driving a death trap!
Sorry to all you 3 wheel fans, be let's be realistic about it. They are dangerous, just look at the number of accidents and deaths on them. I lost a friend because of one.
However, i know that there are alot of skilled riders out there who can handle them, and they know how to ride safe.
Maybe i should of posted this to the guy that wanted to know which 250r trike was the fastest.
Ride hard but safely.

There are parts of each year that are better than the others, obviously. That is why, I make combinations of all years when I build an R. I like the 86-87 frames better, but the 88-89 swingarms are shorter so I use those. The 86-87 a-arms have adjustable camber so they are nicer, the 86-87 spindles are also a lot stronger too. The 89 clutch is the best, and the 88 plastic looks the best.

I started with a stock '86. By the end, the only reason you could call it an '86 was because it had an '86 frame.
