92 400 4x4 shifting problems

92 400 4x4 shifting problems
My buddies 400 4x4 will not go into neutral.Could this be due to an interlock with the brake system malfunctioning???I'm only familiar with the Polaris bikes and am more into sleds but I've been asked about this and figured u guys could help??Tranny shifts fine in 1 thru 5 but no -n- so no rev.Any ideas??
