I bought a 01 400EX I have pulled the motor and I am planning on getting it rebuilt. Who should I use to do the job, so far I have talked to Trinity racing about there 440 big bore stroker, seems that it will have a lot of power, but I want the most power that I can get. As you would assume Trinity has stated that there would be nothing else I could do to the moter to give it more HP than what they will do. As I'm not a motor builder I need help from a third party, I'll be lucky to get the moter back in. Cost isn't a factor, just HP.

TC Racing can build a 505EX. Go to exriders.com, and there is a guy there in the forums who has had it done. Four Stroke Tech also makes a 500. Trinity does a 465 (440 stroker). There are plenty of engine builders. (For Dirt Only, LRD, CT, Powroll, Duncan, etc...) I'd call all the shops and see what they can do, and how long their turn-around time is. My buddy should get his 460 stroker back within the week from LRD. I bet it is going to scream. Ill tell you how it compares to my mildly built bike... Within a few days hopefully...
