Has anybody tried the FMF Power Core Four-Squared with the FMF TRX Power Bomb pipe? How loud is it? Power, sound, weight difference?

 

Hasn't anybody tried it?

 

I called a few places to get an idea of the price for the pipe, and all stated they wouldn't be getting it for a few weeks--I'm guessing its making its way thru the distribution channels since it's fairly new. I would like to hear from someone using it as well...

 

When is it suppose to come out? Almost sounds too good to be true!

I e-mailed FMF. It won't be quieter than stock. The Power Core IV-2 on YZ400/426 is the only machine that will be quieter than stock. The Power Core IV-2, FMF claims, is quieter than an other aftermarket system. That is not what they told me a month ago. They said it would be up to 3 decibles quieter than stock. Looks like FMF won't be getting my money, afterall.

 

I heard this from Big Gun, they said they have seen the FMF core 4 sq. and It was almost as loud as the old core 4. Plus FMF told me a release date of March 29th and it still isn't available. So I bought the Big Gun and I like it my buddy has the E-Series and he likes mine better.

 

A friend of mine bought the powercore IV2. It is way louder than stock. I haven't heard it next to another pipe yet but it is closer to the aftermarket pipe as opposed to the stock pipe when you are on the gas hard. It idles fairly quietly though. He hasn't got the header part yet.
